Overview of LiDAR

LiDAR offers 76,800 measurement points, an increase of 77%, to improve edge people detection and effectively reduce focus hunting. The maximum focusing distance is 20 meters, and the focusing distance to human targets is approximately three times that of the previous generation, allowing easy focusing at long distances with telephoto lenses. The 70° field of view is an advantage for edge compositions and close-ups by offering more room for framing. The LiDAR refresh rate of 30 Hz enables faster subject information gathering, and ensures secure focusing on moving targets. When linked with the DJI Focus Pro engine, LiDAR can enable autofocus for manual targets that have been calibrated.

Tips

When the stabilizer display is in 1× mode, the LiDAR's ToF sensor operates at a default 10-meter detection range. If you wish to zoom to a focus distance of 20 meters, press the + icon on the screen to activate the 2× zoom display.
