What is DJI's UTC programme and why should I sign up?


DJI UTC training offers you many ways to improve your performance as a drone pilot and you can attend a course at one of our DJI UTC Training Centres.  This concept was created in 2016 and the UTC programme now has more than 200 centres around the world: China, the Netherlands, Europe, the United States and we are currently announcing the opening of UTC Academy in Spain.

DJI's UTC programme offers a way to gain an edge over the competition and test your skills by being trained directly by industry leaders.

UTC Certification

Together with the industry expert, the UTC creates a scientific system for the evaluation of UAS application capability.

All trainees trained by the DJI Academy will be required to undergo a standard test after the training course, consisting of a theoretical examination and a practical test.

A UTC certificate will be issued to those who pass the test, as recognition of UAS application capability.

Pilot Training

Drone certification, the importance of training and the job market.

There are more than 100,000 certified commercial drone pilots in the United States alone, and as more companies and organisations continue to adopt drone technology, the need for trained drone operators will continue to grow.

The course is completed with an on-site exam and training session at one of eight training centres, with accompanying hands-on experience to gain UTC certification.
