Long-distance live HD signal

DJI Transmission incorporates O3 Pro video transmission technology, which offers an incredible 6 km[1] terrestrial transmission distance.It also supports 1080p/60 fps transmission at a max. bit rate of 50 Mb/s, as well as 16-bit, 48 kHz live audio monitoring, to give crews on large film sets a fantastic remote audio and video monitoring experience.


Ultra-low end-to-end latency

The video transmitter and receiver use the same chip solution as the Ronin 4D, with all parts expressly optimized to provide ultra-low end-to-end transmission latency when paired with cinema cameras, such as ALEXA Mini LF.


Automatic frequency hopping without interruption

O3 Pro incorporates DFS frequency bands in addition to the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, offering up to 23 channel options, providing professional teams with more suitable, interference-free transmission channels.In addition, DJI Transmission supports triple-band automatic frequency hopping, which automatically scans the current electromagnetic environment to find the best wireless channel.


With a built-in frequency scanner, users can even manually select the optimal channel to avoid interference between devices.


By installing high-gain antennas[2], transmission capacity is further increased.


One transmitter with multiple receivers

The high-brightness remote monitor supports one transmitter with multiple receivers for video and audio signals, in two different transmission modes.In Control mode. DJI Transmission offers optimal transmission performance.Monitoring can be performed from two receivers at the same time, while the Ronin 2, RS 3 Pro and camera focus can be controlled remotely.


For large crews with multiple units, such as lighting, art department and props, in addition to Control mode, Broadcast mode can also be enabled, which allows an unlimited number of receivers to be used (transmission performance differs from Control mode).This takes recording awareness and efficiency to a whole new level.



In dynamic, multi-equipment environments, such as reality show filming sets, DJI's unique transmission protocol can better utilize wireless channels.With DFS bands and automatic frequency hopping technology, DJI Transmission can work with 20 or more transmitters sending signals to 20 or more monitors simultaneously.This results in a smooth and coordinated experience that is difficult to achieve with traditional transmission equipment.

Compared to conventional solutions, DJI Transmission incorporates a high-brightness monitor with an integrated receiver, providing optimal portability and an efficient layout to help you get started quickly in any scenario.


The remote monitor features the same image processing chip used in the Ronin 4D, allowing it to offer many functions in addition to monitoring, for integrated and efficient reception, monitoring, control and recording.


Wide color gamut touch screen

The high-brightness remote monitor is equipped with a 7-inch wide color gamut touchscreen display, with a brightness of up to 1500 nits.It features a tempered glass screen protector and a professional sunshade, to deliver rich, true colors, even in complex lighting conditions.With a resolution of 1920×1200, the display features a non-intrusive interface (OSD), with visible details, such as recording parameters, to ensure easy access to information and flawless monitoring.

Support tools

The remote monitor includes support tools, such as safety zone, framing guide, zebra stripes, false color, peaking and waveform, to enable accurate composition, exposure and focus.

Independent recording and playback

The remote monitor also features a microSD card slot and allows recording and playback of a live H.264 signal in 1080p/60 fps, as well as simultaneous access to video timecode, making it easy to edit proxy files on the set itself.When using multiple remote monitors at the same time, each monitor can even record or playback video independently without interfering with other monitors.

Integrated motion controller

The high-brightness remote monitor features an integrated gyro sensor that allows it to act as a standalone motion controller for the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro, without the need for additional accessories.This allows users to achieve more complex camera moves from a moving vehicle or with a crane.

Compatible with Ronin 4D Grips

The high-brightness remote monitor features a protective expansion mount.When used with Ronin 4D grips[2], the joystick can control the stabilizer of the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro, and the Focus wheel can control focus and camera parameter adjustment, such as aperture, shutter and ISO, while the Record button controls start/stop recording[3], to make the RS 3 Pro user experience similar to that of the Ronin 4D.


Compatible with DJI Master Wheels and DJI Force Pro

When used with DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro[4], the remote monitor allows users more advanced stabilizer control when using the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro.In this situation, the OE will transmit control signals directly from DJI Transmission and no longer use wireless signals from DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro.This increases transmission performance threefold and improves signal range, stability and anti-jamming capability.


Mirrored control mode

When the RS 3 Pro is installed on cranes, cable cams or vehicles, mirrored control mode[5] allows you to remotely control the menu of Sony mirrorless cameras from anywhere on set.

Direct power supply from the stabilizer

They can also use the NP-F battery adapter to use universal batteries.


Third-party V-mount battery adapters can also be used to power the video transmitter and remote monitor with V-mount batteries.Pogo pins can be found on the front and back of the video transmitter to install the specialized V-mount battery adapter on a camera to act as an integrated power supply for the camera and video transmitter.


To provide continuous power, a P-TAP to DC-IN power cable can be used to connect to an external power source.
