The experience of DJI in stabilization systems added to that of FLIR in thermal cameras, has achieved the definitive solution in the Zenmuse XT for aerial thermography, fast and reliable.

The camera on the DJI Zenmuse XT has been developed by FLIR. It provides a high sensitivity (50mK) of infrared scanning at 640/30 336/30 fps or fps depending on the camera model.
This sensitivity provides reliable and accurate information for temperature, analysis and telemetry measurements. Both cameras are available in four lens options to meet different user needs.
Stabilized and controlled by a custom DJI transmission, which provides clear, smooth images and allows camera movements up to 360 degrees without cuts in the image
Precise temperatures on the screen.
The Zenmuse XT is an advanced Radiometric camera that provides double the precision and temperature measurement. It incorporates new analysis and registration functions. Simply touching any point of the screen will inform us of the temperature of the selected image. It allows selecting areas to measure the average, high and low temperature, as well as its location. The camera can also be calibrated to further increase the accuracy of temperature measurement by setting external parameters including the background temperature. If the photographic captures are captured in the TIFF format, the temperature of each pixel can be recorded for further processing and analysis. It allows you to adjust a temperature warning threshold and activate automatically when it detects the change. This capability could simplify and accelerate search and rescue and inspection activities.
FLIR cameras reveal details not visible to the naked eye, showing subtle differences in temperature. This new point of view about the world can reveal the damage to buildings, the location of lost people and much more.
Improvement of the image through software
Infrared imaging requires software optimization to ensure maximum definition for information capture. The Zenmuse XT has a number of image enhancements designed by FLIR including Digital Detail Enhancement ™ (DDE); Intelligent Scene Optimization ™ (SSO), which improves the extremes in bimodal scenes; Active Contrast Enhancement ™ (ACE) that adjusts the contrast of the scene with respect to its temperature differences; and ACM ™ based information (IBHEQ) that compresses complex image data to create the best quality image.
