Phantom 4 Pro (Obsidian Edition)

An enhanced camera that is equipped with a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor, capable of recording 4K / 60fps video images and Burst mode images at 14 fps. The adoption of the titanium alloy and the magnesium alloy construction, increases the rigidity of the cell and reduces the weight, so the Phantom 4 Pro has a weight similar to the Phantom 4. The autonomous flight system adds two sensors of rear view and infrared sensors, which makes a total of five directions of obstacle detection and four directions of obstacle avoidance.
CAMERA WITH 1 INCH SENSOR OF 20MP
The camera has been redesigned to use a 20-megapixel 1-inch CMOS sensor. An exclusive eight element lens is organized in seven groups, it is the first DJI camera to use a mechanical aperture, which eliminates the distortion of the rolling shutter, which can occur when taking pictures of fast moving subjects, or when flying at high speed and a mechanical attention. In effect, it is as powerful as many traditional terrestrial cameras. The most powerful video processing supports H.264 4K at 60fps or H.265 4K at 30fps, both with a bit rate of 100Mbps. Advanced sensors and processors ensure that everything is captured with more detailed images and the image data needed for advanced postproduction.
FIVE OBSTACLE DETECTION ADDRESSES
FlightAutonomy is extended with an additional set of high resolution stereo vision sensors located on the rear, in addition to the pair placed on the front, as well as infrared detection systems placed on the left and right sides. This network creates a total of five obstacle detection directions and four obstacle avoidance directions, protecting the Phantom 4 Pro from more obstacles and giving filmmakers the confidence to capture more complex images.
REMOTE CONTROLLER WITH INCORPORATED SCREEN
The Phantom 4 Pro controller integrates an enhanced Lightbridge HD video transmission system that adds 5.8 GHz transmission support. The ability to choose between 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz allows pilots to pass through interference and eliminate delay of image caused when flying in an area with frequency usage of 2.4Ghz. Normally, Wi-Fi video transmission systems use a frequency of 2.4 GHz to work, with a station that uses a frequency of 5.8 GHz, since it avoids the interference that can occur when both use the same frequency.
The Lightbridge HD video transmission system used in the Phantom 4 Pro uses TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) to transmit signals, which allows it to send control signals and receive video transmission signals at the same frequency. As the 2.4 GHz frequency band is often affected by Wi-Fi, 4G, and other types of interference in urban areas, a 5.8 GHz band will increase the reliability of the transmission. When turned on, the Phantom 4 Pro evaluates the local signal levels, automatically choosing the transmission frequency with the lowest level of interference. This ensures the optimal reach of a maximum transmission of 4.7km video.
A 5.5-inch 1080p display integrated with the Phantom 4 Pro + offers 1000 cd / m2 of brightness, more than twice as bright as conventional smart devices. Makes bright and vivid colors easily visible in direct sunlight. With this screen, a mobile device is not required, which simplifies preparations before the flight. As the DJI GO application is integrated into the screen, the hardware and software can be fully optimized, further reducing the video delay. The integration of an HDMI port, Micro-SD card slot, microphone, integrated speaker and Wi-Fi connection allow images to be edited within DJI GO to be shared almost instantly. Finally, an autonomy of five hours makes the Phantom 4 Pro + a complete solution for aerial images.
